Jake and Amy's wedding was one of classic elegance. Held at Bonterra near Uptown Charlotte, it was an intimate, exquisite wedding. The main dining area of Bonterra was set up for the ceremony and then switched over for the reception. Details included beautiful white flowers, candles, and elegant place settings. The girls got ready upstairs in the balcony while the guys got ready below in the wine cellar. Bonterra is a small location so we had to be creative with photo spots. We got some great shots across the street and also took advantage of the beautiful staircase and balcony inside. For the reception, there was a homemade candy bar, lots of fun dancing, and the food was incredible! Amy and Jake ended their special day with sparklers going down the outside steps. These two were such a lovely, classy couple and their wedding expressed that!

DIY. Rustic. Homegrown. These are some of my favorite wedding words and they perfectly describe Katie and Levi's wedding! Their wedding took place on Katie's parent's property next to a beautiful barn. Every last detail was so lovely and many of the decorations were made by Katie herself! Lauren Piner, from Southern & Chic, helped pull everything Katie wanted for her day together and was great to work with! The ceremony took place right in front of the barn and Katie walked down the aisle through beautiful vintage doors that they had set up. The cutest part was their ring bearer who was their dog, Charlie! The reception was held in a tent beside the barn and throughout the backyard they had outdoor games set up for their guests. My favorite part of the reception was when Levi sang to Katie. He had written her a song and surprised her by singing it! These lovebirds ended the night with a sparkler exit to Levi's truck which they drove off in. Katie and Levi had so much love for each other and God that showed throughout their entire day. It was a beautiful celebration that I am blessed I got to be a part of!
This was the first elopement I've ever done and I just absolutely loved it! Tiffany and Matt incorporated a vintage, Wes Anderson feel into their elopement and it fit them so perfectly. They did the official part of their elopement on Friday and then on Saturday we spent the day in Asheville celebrating their union with pictures. Tiffany and Matt brought two close friends to spend the elopement weekend with them as a small bridal party. The best part about photos was that we got to visit so many great locations! We started the day at the Asheville Botanical Gardens. It was a little rainy to begin with, but the day cleared up quickly. Next, we headed to the courthouse to get some photos in front of it since I hadn't been there for the official part on Friday. After the courthouse, we went to The Grove Park Inn. This hotel was just stunning and tucked away in the mountains of Asheville. Lastly, we got ourselves lost in the Blue Ridge Mountains (literally!). Tiffany and Matt were so great about driving around for 30 minutes trying to find a certain spot :) But boy was it worth it! We finished up pictures on an overlook that showed all the beautiful mountain tops and landscape. Matt and Tiffany were so sweet and willing to go along with all my ideas for some great photos. It was one of my favorite shoots to date!
