Bee Happy Wedding | Morning Glory Farm | Kensey + Tyler

I’m so excited to share Kensey & Tyler’s wedding at Morning Glory Farm with you! When I heard Kensey mention a honeycomb arch, I knew their day was going to be perfect and unique to them. Tyler hand-built the honeycomb arch himself and put it together on site hours before the ceremony. The gorgeous pop of bright flowers on the arch, and everywhere else, were done by Springvine Design. Isn’t Kensey’s bouquet perfect for a little bee to nestle right into?! Speaking of bees, Kensey’s adorable shoes are from Poshmark and don’t miss the little gold bees tucked into her hair along with the gold leaf ear piece. Her hair was done by Abigail Vasilchick from Ulta Beauty and her flawless makeup was done by Nina McCaskey from Wedded Kiss. I was in love with Kensey’s dress the moment I saw it! It’s an ombre blush gown from Kelly Faetanini. Over the dress, she wore the coolest leather jacket with floral details embellished on it. As you scroll, you’ll notice Kensey also has a little bumblebee tattooed on her arm. Kensey & Tyler’s dog, Nigel, got ready with the girls and was readily available to eat any crumbs left over from lunch! The bridesmaid’s velvet dark pink dresses were from Modcloth and they looked adorable with their black boots. Later on at the reception, they donned leather jackets to match with Kensey! The reception also had elements of bees, including a cake from Celestial Cakery and more of those beautiful flowers. Kensey, Tyler, and their family and friends danced out the night to a live band under strings of hanging lights. Lastly, I can’t forget to mention Beautiful Day Weddings that helped bring Kensey’s vision to life and coordinated the day so well!

Reynolda Barn Wedding | Winston-Salem NC | Aubrey + Patrick

Aubrey and Patrick are the sweetest couple and full of joy that just spilled out of them on their wedding day despite it being a little chilly and cloudy! Aubrey and Patrick met at Wake Forest University so it was only fitting that their wedding day happen at Reynolda Barn and Gardens. The bridal suite above the barn was a beautiful place for Aubrey and her bridal party to get ready and as soon as I saw her dress from BHLDN I was in LOVE. I also adored her shoes which matched her day perfectly and that she got on sale from White House Black Market! Aubrey’s perfect hair and makeup were done by Aeracura Salon. The ceremony took place in front of the large greenhouse on property. Patrick and Aubrey were both so emotional when she came down the aisle- it was so sweet!

After finishing photos outside, Aubrey and Patrick were introduced into their reception in Reynolda Barn. The decorations in the barn were all put together by Aubrey and her mom! Her mom put her heart and soul into each set up and the room as a whole. They incorporated so many personal aspects while still designing everything to fit together perfectly! And Aubrey’s flowers, including her bouquet, were gorgeously put together by Sophisticated Florals by Stephanie. Their dessert table was also lovely and the cake was made by Aubrey’s bridesman and friend Tyler! The night was specially marked by a family style mexican meal, a birthday song for one of their guests, a sweet mother daughter dance, and a fun sister dance. To cap it all off Aubrey and Patrick ran through a tunnel of their favorite people throwing lavender into the air. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. O’Rourke!

Brakefield Wedding | Rock Hill SC | Rachel + Peter

Fall weather is here! I’m so happy it decided to come just in time for Rachel and Peter’s wedding last Saturday. It was 75 and sunny- a perfect day for a wedding at Brakefield at Riverwalk. I loved all the details of their day- the monogrammed box Rachel made for Peter, his cufflinks, the gorgeous flowers and greenery by What’s Up Buttercup, and their drink koozies! Rachel & Peter had a Jewish ceremony including signing the Ketubah, getting married under a huppah, and breaking the glass. We got some beautiful pink sky peeking through the trees during sunset photos and managed to sneak in one last photo under their huppah before the light was gone. And don’t miss the photos of their hora dance during the reception along with some fun dancing shots! Congratulations Rachel and Peter!
