Callie & Trevor | Poconos, PA

I don't think I can convey how much I loved Callie & Trevor's wedding! Some of you may remember that this is the wedding that got published on Green Wedding Shoes (you can view it here). First of all, the location was stunning! Tucked in the Pocono mountains, Tall Timber Barn had all you could want in a venue. It has wooded areas, grassy areas, a barn, an old building, a large pavilion, and a tiny pavilion with benches for a ceremony space. Callie spent so much time picking out and creating her decorations and details for the day. She changed her mind on her wedding dress once she found this one she loved from Free People. She picked out moccasins from Minnetonka. She carefully picked out the color scheme to go with her woodsy, bohemian day and matched everything accordingly. I loved everything from her aztec rug to the Native-American salt and pepper shakers to her gorgeous flower crown. Callie's family also helped her a lot in putting together the day! Callie's uncle printed her invitations, her mom made tablecloths from Ikea curtains, and her dad handcrafted a wooden wedding band for Trevor. Callie and Trevor incorporated so many elements that perfectly fit them as a couple. The day truly expressed their love, who they were and what was important to them.

Grace & Ben | Hickory, NC

When I met Grace and Ben for their engagement session, I knew they would have the sweetest wedding day! They were adorable together and were truly excited for their day. Their wedding day started with rain and clouds, but we made the best of it! Rex Allen Theater Events had this amazing old building on the property that I LOVED using for their photos. The ceremony was held down in a small opening in the middle of the woods. It was perfectly romantic! The rain cleared up just as the ceremony began and held off until the reception. Grace's grandmother couldn't make it to the wedding because she was in the hospital, but they were able to Skype her in for the ceremony which was SO precious. We quickly finished up formals before the rain came pouring down and ran into the reception building! The reception was filled with vintage and DIY decorations that fit Grace and Ben's day so well. Grace's MOH gave an amazing rap/speech that had everyone laughing (one of the best speeches I've heard!). The night ended with sparklers surrounding them as they climbed into their getaway car.

Atlee & Adrienne | Lancaster, PA

I LOVE shooting Pennsylvania weddings since it's my home state. This summer I got to travel to Pennsylvania 4 times for weddings and I had a blast! Atlee and Adrienne's wedding was the first of my travels and was such a joy to shoot. Adrienne was the sweetest bride and Atlee was the craziest groom :) I loved Adrienne's grecian style dress and vintage style details. I've never seen a church so well decorated for a wedding! Atlee and Adrienne did a first look before the ceremony. They were so happy to finally be at their wedding day and it definitely showed on their faces. We took some bridal party and couple photos while we were out in the field. Lancaster just has the most beautiful landscape which made the perfect backdrop for their photos. During the reception, Adrienne and her dad surprised us all with a fun dance in the middle of their father/daughter dance- it was adorable! There was lots of crazy dancing by all the guests as well which made it so fun to shoot :) The night ended with a sparkler exit and a full moon right above the happy couple! Lastly, my post would not be complete without mentioning my great second shooter for the day, James Kolb from Kolb Visuals. Thanks James for all your help!
