Jessica & Ben | 1920's Themed Wedding

I was born in the wrong era. I love everything about the 1920's and so obviously, I could not wait to shoot Jessica and Ben's 20's themed wedding! Every detail was so perfect for their day. Jessica wore a flapper style, beaded gown and had her hair done in pin-up curls. Her shoes went perfectly and her jewelry finished off the look. The hotel where they got ready was glitzy and glamorous and allowed for great photos. The intimate ceremony and reception took place at Maggianos, which also was perfect for the feel of the day! The reception tables were decorated with pearl necklaces, beautiful flowers, and gold accents. Everything had that Great gatsby feel to it! My favorite part of their wedding was the fact that they asked their guests to dress up in 20's attire as well! It was so fun and everyone looked amazing! Thanks, Jessica and Ben, for letting me live in the 20's for one beautiful day :)

Dana & Brian | Lancaster PA

I couldn't wait to photograph Dana and Brian's wedding! I first met Dana at another wedding that I was shooting and she was a bridesmaid. When Dana got engaged, she contacted me about doing her photos and I was so excited! Dana and Brian's wedding was in Lancaster, PA (one of my favorite places) and had gorgeous, rustic details. I absolutely loved Dana's dress because it fit her style so well! She made her dress even more special by sewing a heart-shaped piece of her grandpa's sweater inside the dress. My favorite part of a wedding day is always formal couple portraits! I had a lovely space to work with. We even got some photos on the trolley that was transferring guests to and from the reception! Halfway through the reception, a storm came through and the power went totally out. After a few minutes, we realized it wasn't going to be coming back on anytime soon. Dana handled it so great and we made the most of it! Dana and her bridesmaids broke out into their own singing for music and took some fun photos. Finally, we were able to get some generators going to bring back the music and some lighting to finish up the night with dancing. The entire day was fun and filled with love. I'm honored that I got to capture it!

Thanks to James Kolb of Kolb Visuals for second shooting with me!

Samantha & David | Rock Hill, SC

Brakefield at Riverwalk in Rock Hill, SC was just a lovely venue for Samantha and David's wedding! I've done many sessions at the riverwalk but this was my first wedding at Brakefield. The back courtyard was such a beautiful, intimate space for the ceremony and the indoor ballroom had lots of space for the reception. The bridal suite was one of THE loveliest rooms I've gotten to take bridal preparation photos in. I loved being able to capture Samantha's true emotion on her day- her tears of happiness made me tear up as well! I also had the pleasure of working alongside Blue Motion Studio, who were videographing Samantha and David's day. During the reception we enjoyed capturing everyone dancing and having fun. To finish the day, Samantha and David exited through a sky full of bubbles. It was a magical and emotion-filled wedding that was an honor to shoot!
