Cait & Brett | Lancaster PA

A warm sunny day + Riverdale Manor in Lancaster = a lovely wedding! I love when a couple has their whole wedding day at the same location because the day just flows together so well! Cait and her girls got ready in the bridal suite while Brett and his guys put on their suits and fixed their ties in another room down the hall. Cait had her mom and sister help her with her dress and then had her bridesmaids come in to see her all ready. It was the sweetest moment! We did separate photos of the girls and guys and then Cait and Brett had a first look. They were overjoyed to see each other and had a few minutes alone to breath in the moment of the day.

The ceremony took place out under the pavilion and then everyone moved inside for the reception. While the guests enjoyed cocktail hour, we continued with photos. I had the pleasure of doing Cait & Brett's engagement photos a few months before and they were just as fun and willing to capture great photos as they had before! They are a stunning couple who shined with love for each other the whole day. My favorite part of the day had to be the dancing. This is hands down the best dancing reception I've gotten to capture! Almost everyone danced and was insanely good at it as well! Included in this favorite part is the groomsmen dance. Brett and his groomsmen did a choreographed dance to lead up to Brett taking the garter off of Cait! It was hilarious and awesome! It was an incredibly fun wedding to shoot.

P.S. Thanks to Katie Williamson for being an awesome second shooter with me for this one!

Emily & Micah | Charlotte NC

This homegrown wedding took place in the backyard of the bride's parent's home! It was a cozy, adorable, and lovely celebration that was unique to Emily and Micah. Emily got ready in her parent's house and then we set up a first look for her and Micah at a park nearby. They were so cute and excited to see each other! We took some couple and family photos afterwards and then made our way back to the house. Right before the ceremony, it started to sprinkle but that can't stop a wedding! With umbrellas up and jackets on, their guests celebrated the ceremony with them and then gathered in the tent set up for the reception. Thankfully the rain stopped quickly and the rest of the night was beautiful! Set up under string lights with music playing in the background, the reception was darling. Emily and Micah mingled with their guests, danced under the stars, cut some delicious cake, and exited through glowing sparklers. They made their wedding unique to them and that's what made it so special!

Faith & Reece | Mooresville NC

Johnson Carriage House is one of my favorite venues to shoot at! Faith and Reece had their wedding from beginning to end here and it was so GORGEOUS. Faith and her bridesmaids got ready in the pool house while the guys got ready in a room above the barn. I absolutely loved Faith's lovely flower crown. Flower crowns are just always a good idea. We snuck out for some cute photos of the girls in their adorable robes and then went back inside to get Faith into her dress. Meanwhile, the guys were also getting ready and hanging out while my husband captured their moments together. Faith and Reece decided to do a first look before the wedding. Another thing thats always a good idea! I know I've said this every time on here, but I LOVE first looks. Just look at the emotion between them! And if you scroll down to the ceremony you will see that a first look did not take away the emotion of walking down the aisle :)

The ceremony took place out back behind the pool on a grassy lawn beside a beautiful brick wall. The summer breeze was blowing the ribbons around on the arch as guests began to take their seats. Faith's tears during the ceremony were so sweet and if you've been around me at all you've probably heard me say "I LOVE CRYING". It makes for such touching photos! We took some more photos after the ceremony and even captured Faith and Reece with the horses at sunset! One of my favorite shots of all time.

The reception took place in the stables with a long family style table in place for dinner. Afterwards, everyone moved inside for dancing and cake cutting. The night ended with the always beautiful sparkler exit. This was one for the books people.
