Naly & Chris | Rock Hill SC

Naly & Chris got married in Rock Hill, SC at The Magnolia Room. I absolutely loved all the gold details from their wedding (all organized by the wonderful By Invitation Only) and the way they incorporated so many personal things into their wedding. One of my favorite parts of the day was their first look which was so sweet and tearful. After the traditional ceremony, Naly and Chris had a ceremony that celebrated Naly's family's heritage. Each guest came up and tied a string on each of their wrists and wished them marriage blessings. They did a few other traditions throughout the reception including a dance where everyone got involved! Everyone was so happy to celebrate the joining of these two families and it made the day a joy to capture!

Brittany & Steve | Long Island, NY

_MG_8706 copy.jpg

I met Brittany and Steve in college and was so excited when they contacted me about shooting their wedding! I flew out to Long Island, NY the day before the wedding and got to celebrate at their rehearsal dinner with them. The next day I went back to Brittany's parent's house where she and her girls were getting ready. I love when my brides get ready in their family's home! It gives the photos a more natural and lovely feel than a hotel room. After the girls were ready, we drove over to the church for the ceremony. I definitely teared up watching Steve watch Brittany coming down the aisle! After the ceremony, we headed to the venue for the reception. Their guests were so fun and danced the night away after enjoying dinner! Near sunset, I took Brittany and Steve outside for some last minute pictures and they are my absolute favorite from the day. They ended the night with a small sparkler exit and a last dance surrounded by their family and friends. These two are the sweetest and I'm so honored I could capture their day!

Amanda & Brandon | Charlotte NC

Amanda and Brandon were so ready for their wedding after being long distance with Brandon in the military! That played into the theme of the day with travel decorations at the ceremony and reception. Alexander Homestead was the perfect venue to coordinate with the rustic, travel theme. Even though it rained in the morning, the afternoon cleared up and was lovely for the outdoor ceremony under the gazebo. The reception took place inside the barn with assorted vintage bottles and lace on each table. Later on we snuck outside for some sunset photos and even got a few under the string lights from the ceremony. The beautiful day ended with paper airplanes soaring over Amanda and Brandon as they ran to their car!
