A Home Grown Wedding | Pittsburgh PA

When Leah and Grant contacted me about their wedding, I said yes immediately! I have known Leah and her family my whole life and they are very dear to me, so I was excited that I could be a part of their day! Every detail of her day was carefully put together by her and her family. The home grown feel of every wedding aspect made it a joy to capture! From her gorgeous lace wedding dress, which her sister carefully altered for her, to the handmade brooch bouquet, to the barefoot feet of the bride, everything felt natural and unique to Leah and Grant. Their day exhibited their fun personalities, their honoring of the Lord in marriage, and their joy in marrying each other. I couldn't have asked for a more wonderful wedding to photograph! Thank you, Leah and Grant for allowing me to capture your story.

A Glamorous Vintage Wedding {Williamsport}

After first talking with Elyse and Ryan, I knew that their wedding was one I wanted to shoot! Elyse told me all about her vintage wedding plans and from her dress to her bridesmaids bouquets, everything sounded absolutely lovely! On the day of their wedding, Elyse and her bridesmaids got ready in the historic Genetti hotel. It fit Elyse's day perfectly with its old and glamorous feel. My favorite part of the day was taking photos on the roof of the hotel! The view was breathtaking and the marquee Genetti sign made the most amazing backdrop. The location for Elyse and Ryan's ceremony and reception was also perfect! The old barn sitting in the middle of the beautiful Pennsylvania mountains made for a secluded and romantic place for their wedding. The barn contained all sorts of unique and vintage objects and the decorations were darling. Most of the day so far had been gloomy and a little bit rainy, but right as Elyse started walking down the aisle to "I'm Walking on Sunshine", the sun actually came out! It was a perfect moment and the sun stayed with us until sunset. The golden rod field next to the barn was glowing with the sunlight, so we made sure to get lots of sunset photos there! Elyse and Ryan were willing to do anything for great photos and it was such a pleasure to work with them. I wish them all the best as husband and wife!

A Vintage Barn Wedding

Words can’t even begin to describe how much I loved shooting the Fasulo wedding! I knew from the first time I talked with John and Krista that we would get along so well! They were the sweetest and most fun couple to photograph and their wedding was adorable! Sweet DIY touches were everywhere for their simple and vintage wedding. Paper pinwheels lined the old barn walls, lights were strung across the lofty ceiling, and the table settings were gleaming with elegance. Even though some last minute changes had to be made due to rain, Krista and John just went with the flow and still enjoyed all the moments of getting married. Every part of their wedding was so fun and I was sad for it to end! Near the end of the day, I was praying and praying for a spark of sunlight to make it’s way through the gloomy clouds. Just when I’d about given up hope and decided to still get some more couple photos, the sun burst forth gloriously! We had 10 minutes of absolute, beautiful sunset lighting and I was bursting with glee! I think it was the perfect end to this shining couple’s wonderful day. Thank you John and Krista for letting us capture your wedding story!
