Lake Wylie Wedding | Clover SC | Jen & Eric

When your bride takes the time to Instagram stalk someone to find out where a certain woodsy location is you know its going to be a good day! I met Jen and Eric in a small clearing of tall trees down the road from the summer lake house Jen's parent's own. Here they had an adorable first look! After we finished pictures here, we went over to the house on Lake Wylie. They set up a lovely backyard wedding right on the edge of the lake. Jen's mom worked hard to help pull together all the details for the day and they turned out beautiful! After a lakeside ceremony, Jen and Eric and all their guests headed to the side of the house for a tented reception. There were twinkle and patio lights as well as candles all over. It was so romantic!

Cabin Ridge Wedding | Hendersonville NC | Anna & Ryan

This was one of those weddings where every detail fit the couple perfectly! Their venue, The Cabin Ridge, is a gorgeous location up in the mountains of Hendersonville, NC. Anna and her sister got ready in the cabin on the property while Ryan got dressed in the barn. Anna wore a lace dress from Wildflower Bridal and Ryan wore a traditional Scottish kilt. Anna's boots were ones she already owned and I adored them (I love when my couples incorporate things they already own). After they were done getting ready, they did a first look (if you read any of my blogs you know how much I love these). We also took some pictures on what Anna and Ryan have been lovingly referring to as their wedding couch. The ceremony was on the the top of the property overlooking the mountains and Anna walked down the aisle to Paperman by Christophe Beck (this song is actually on one of my processional song blog posts). The mountain view also gave us some spectacular sunset photos!! Lastly, I loved all of the details at their reception including the adorable outfit Anna changed into part way through! If you look through these photos you will see how much joy this couple has and how they kept me laughing the whole day!

Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden Wedding | Belmont NC | Casey & Dan

Casey and Dan's day started out in Uptown Charlotte getting ready with their friends. For the ceremony, we drove to All Saints Lake Wylie Catholic Church. Casey carried a 100-year-old handkerchief wrapped around her bouquet that many women in her family have also carried down the aisle. She and Dan couldn't hold in their emotion when they saw each other and it was the sweetest thing! The reception was 5 minutes down the road at Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden. Dinner and cake were served inside the main room and then everyone moved outside under a tent of string lights for dancing. Everything was just beautiful and romantic! They had a lovely choreographed first dance, dug up a bottle of bourbon they had buried on the property, had a hot dog cart set up for a late night reception snack, and ended with a sparkler exit!
