Point Lookout Vineyards Wedding | Hendersonville NC | Michael + Taylor

The view from Michael and Taylor’s wedding venue was stunning! Blue, sunny skies and the mountains were the backdrop for their ceremony at Point Lookout Vineyards. It was a refreshing change from all the rain we’ve had lately! I loved their simple copper wedding arch with florals from Publix and the inside of their reception area was blooming with greenery and flowers as well. We were able to sneak down to the vineyards for some golden hour photos and then Jonah from Split Second Sound led the night into some fun dancing! Taylor and Michael exited through sparklers and then made their way to celebrate even more with friends and family at their after party. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Harris!

1932 Barn Wedding | Charlotte NC | Sarah + Patrick

The rain is following all my weddings this Spring! It was a lovely early afternoon but it started to look stormy for Sarah and Patrick’s day. We were able to make it through photos and the ceremony before it down poured! I’ve been to 1932 Barn several times but this was the first ceremony at their new spot at the venue and I just loved the set up under the tree! Sarah and Patrick took the rain like champs plus Lori and her team at 1932 Barn made the day go perfectly with umbrellas on hand, making sure everything still went as planned and getting guests into the barn quickly. Sarah and Patrick’s family and friends stuck out the rain and were able to enjoy and celebrate with them the rest of the evening. Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Brunette!

Johnson Carriage House Spring Wedding | Rachel + Kevin

Johnson Carriage House is one of my favorite venues to shoot at. It was a rainy day and because of their multiple ceremony space options, Rachel and Kevin were still able to have a lovely ceremony without worrying about the rain. When I walked into the bridal cottage, I couldn’t believe how stunning Rachel’s dress from Anjolique Bridal was! We staged an impromptu first look with her dad, which was so sweet, and then she and Kevin had a first look before their ceremony. I was in love with the ceremony and reception decor, along with the bridesmaid’s dresses and also the flowers done by Willow Floral Boutique! The rain held off the rest of the day so we were able to finish up photos outside after the ceremony. Dinner and toasts were held in the main reception space and then everyone gathered into the next building for dancing. This was my second wedding in a row working with Quinn from Carolina DJ Professionals and she always does a great job! At the end of the night, Rachel and Kevin ran through bubbles and were driven off in a golf cart to stay the night back at the cottage on property. Congratulations Rachel and Kevin!
