Fall Wedding at 1932 Barn | Charlotte NC | Kylen + Lee

From the moment I arrived, I could feel Kylen and Lee’s excitement and love for each other and their wedding day! The girls were all relaxing in their matching flannel shirts, enjoying champagne, music, and finishing touches. The guys were hanging out in the room next door and having a good time! Kylen and Lee had a first look in front of the barn and both of them teared up. It was so sweet! We were able to get almost all of their photos, including family, done before the ceremony so that Kylen and Lee could enjoy their cocktail hour! It was the first day of real fall weather here in NC and everyone was enjoying the break from 90 degrees. Kylen and Lee got married under the large tree in the back of the property. They finished the ceremony with all of their guests toasting/cheering them which I loved! After enjoying their cocktail hour, Kylen and Lee were introduced into their reception. Since the weather was so nice, they moved the dance floor outside and danced under the night sky. My favorite moment from the day was after they ran through their sparkler exit, they stood together looking at all their guests still waving sparklers. Congratulations Kylen & Lee!

Country Club of Asheville Wedding | Asheville NC | Kimberly + Clay

I get to shoot in Asheville about 2-3 times a year and I love it! The mountains and sunset make it so worth the drive! Kimberly and Clay got married at the Country Club of Asheville which has a stunning view both outside and from inside the main ballroom. The gorgeous flowers on the arch, tables, and the bouquets were put together by Love in a Mist by Sarah Nagy. Kimberly’s Marilyn Monroe-esque hair and makeup were done by Turner & CO and her dress was from Bliss by Monique Lhuillier. Kimberly had the sweetest first look with her dad right before walking down the aisle! Even though the weather had been looking iffy all day, the rain held off for the ceremony and the sky gave us a lovely sunset for photos afterwards. The golden hour sun continued to shine right into the reception space for Kimberly and Clay’s first dance! Chris from Split Second Sound handled all the sound and music for the day, including playing a private last dance song for the Mr. and Mrs. before they exited. Congratulations Kimberly & Clay!
