Johnson Carriage House | Jordan + Chris

Jordan and Chris shared their special day with family and friends, at the Johnson Carriage House. Jordan’s stunning dress from Savvy Bride Boutique, elegant hair (by Casey Jones), and subtle glam makeup (by Ann Metzger) popped when up against Chris in his all black tux. The couple wed in a tented area outside where flowers, by Ryan Henry (also the wedding coordinator), and natural wood tones brought warmth and beauty to the dreary day. Celebrations continued indoors, with added funny flare from the bridal party during their entrances, and many laughs were had during speeches from Jordan and Chris’ loved ones. Dancing and sparklers closed out the night for an unforgettable day. I think it is safe to say “chance of rain” is one of the most stressful things a bride and groom can hear, when planning for their wedding day. But, the magical part of rain on a wedding day is being able to see the couple’s love shine through even more, despite the poor weather. Jordan and Chris were no exception to this. It was an honor to capture their love and joy for them to cherish for years to come.

Backyard Summer Wedding | Jessie + Taylor | Charlotte NC

Jessie and Taylor had to move their wedding to their backyard due to covid and it turned out to be the sweetest thing ever! They were surrounded by their closest family and friends and were able to make the day so personal and unique. Jessie’s bouquet had elements that represented her mom, they had a custom vinyl cover for their guest book (accompanied by their handmade record player), they DIY’d almost all the decor, friends loaned them a mini camper to use, and Jessie hand wrote notes for each guest as their placecards and for something special to read. Jessie and Taylor also had a drive by parade from some of their other friends who couldn’t attend due to covid. You can see their love in every photo and I was honored to be a part of such a sweet wedding!
