Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden Wedding | Belmont NC | Casey & Dan

Casey and Dan's day started out in Uptown Charlotte getting ready with their friends. For the ceremony, we drove to All Saints Lake Wylie Catholic Church. Casey carried a 100-year-old handkerchief wrapped around her bouquet that many women in her family have also carried down the aisle. She and Dan couldn't hold in their emotion when they saw each other and it was the sweetest thing! The reception was 5 minutes down the road at Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden. Dinner and cake were served inside the main room and then everyone moved outside under a tent of string lights for dancing. Everything was just beautiful and romantic! They had a lovely choreographed first dance, dug up a bottle of bourbon they had buried on the property, had a hot dog cart set up for a late night reception snack, and ended with a sparkler exit!

1932 Barn Fall Wedding | Charlotte NC | Chelsey & David

Chelsey and David were married on Saturday at 1932 Barn! This is another of my favorite venues to shoot at because of the beautiful farm land, barn, and Lori (one of the owners) who is a joy to work with! Chelsey's dress was a two-piece bodysuit and skirt which I LOVED. It was non-traditional and beautiful and she had her bridesmaids wear a similar combination in different pastel colors! The wooden ring stand was made by Chelsey's dad and the handkerchief around her flowers was her grandmother's. Chelsey and David's first look was just precious under one of the trees on the property. They took some moments to express their excitement to each other and pray together. At the ceremony, they exchanged handwritten vows and then danced back up the aisle (so fun!). There was lots more dancing as the groomsmen and then the bridesmaids danced into the reception together. Chelsey and David made a grand dancing entrance as well! The food was unique and included the Roots food truck with tacos, and then a buffet of salad, burgers, and corn. For dessert, they had cookies and s'mores (give me these over cake any day)! Partway through the reception, Chelsey changed into pants with her top and it was so cute! I loved the versatility of her two piece. To finish the night off, Chelsey and David had a private dance in the barn and then made their way through a line of sparklers. Congratulations guys!

Anne Springs Dairy Barn Wedding | Fort Mill SC | Lauren & Jeff

I instantly felt connected to Lauren and Jeff when I met them at Amelies for coffee. They are the kind of people who you can tell right away care about the people around them and each other. Friend after friend toasted them and the people they are at their beautiful wedding at Anne Springs Dairy Barn. Besides the fact that Lauren and Jeff are fantastic and adorable, they included so many things that made this wedding perfectly fit who they are. Lauren's dress along with the bridesmaid dresses looked like something straight out of a watercolor painting. And the flowers! They went perfectly with the dresses. (Don't get me started on her flower crown. I die over flower crowns). Jeff's grandpa collected german steins and recently he passed away. Lauren and Jeff gave every guest a stein as one of their favors. I loved this personal and sweet touch! Their other favor was a bottle of special wedding wine.
